Risk Scoring Framework
The climate risk score is calculated using a weighted composite of:
- Hazard intensity (40%) — magnitude of climate event
- Exposure (30%) — population and infrastructure in affected area
- Vulnerability (30%) — adaptive capacity of affected systems
Quality Assurance
All reports undergo peer review by at least two senior researchers before publication.
